VACANCY - Personal Assistant to the MD/CEO

Our client, a blue chip corporate entity in the security printing industry, desires the services of a result driven professional and customer service oriented Personal Assistant, with good administrative skills, responsible for the management and coordination of administrative, operational, strategic, research and general services of the Managing Director/CEO.

  • Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, English or any related social science degree
  • Must have minimum of 5 years cognate experience as a Personal Assistant
  • Must be very good in Microsoft Office application packages
  • Computer literacy

  • Well developed time management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Must be a brilliant multi-tasker
  • To maintain and update a detailed dairy of the itinerary of the MD and ensure (s)he is reminded of upcoming appointment as they fall due
  • Take minutes at special events and occasions and prepare the minutes for the MD’s attention
  • Assist to prepare and type any paper to be presented by the MD as directed
  • To ensure that proper travel arrangements are made for the MD on personal and business trips and that all due formalities are observed
  • Manage information in a network environment and coordinate the provision of vital routine and ad hoc reports
  • Maintain proper records of documents for safety and ease of retrieval especially sensitive documents kept in trust to ensure confidentiality 
  • To ensure effective management of equipment and other office items by ensuring that they are always in good condition
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the MD, including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments and activities
  • Provide a bridge for clear communication and maintain credibility, trust and support between the office of the MD and the rest of the organization
  • Work closely with the MD to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned
