HR & Admin Officer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently processing employee data, keeping company policies up to date, assisting in the hiring process, playing a crucial role in maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and promoting effective communication within the organization.

The candidate will also be responsible for administrative tasks and contribute to making the company a better place to work.

Ability to ability to handle confidential information with discretion will be essential in this role.

• Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.

• Update internal databases with new hire information.

• Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies.

• Gather payroll data such as bank accounts and working days.

• Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed.

• Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like the total number of hires by department.

• Create and implement effective onboarding plans.

• Respond to employees’ questions about benefits.

• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.

• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.

• Proficient in Writing and Documentation

• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

• Provide counselling on policies and procedures.

• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions and managing the hiring process.

• Develop training and development programs.

• Assist in performance management processes.

• Proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or other HR position

• Basic knowledge of labour laws and disciplinary procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Pivot Reporting.

• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities

• Excellent communication and people skills

• BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field. further training will be a plus. HR Credentials (e.g., PHR from the HR Certification Institute)

• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude

• Strong ethics and reliability

• Must be an active learner and follow given instructions.
